The Touch 65 is the latest version of a classic scanner
which has been produced by Datalogic for about 20 years. Over this
period the scanner has proved to be ultra reliable and is an
ideal choice for a workhourse scanner in offices snd similar
School Libraries. I know of no scanner more reliable.
Main difference from earlier models is the charcoal grey color and
all models are switched however the switch can be programmed out so it
operates as an unswitched scanner.
Datalogic give a 5 year guarentee on this scanner but you are unlikely
to need it because this scanner is ultra reliable. You can expect a
long working life from this scanner.
Good choice for school, college and university libraries. Use as a direct
replacement for DLC6060, DL65 and similar older models.
Avaiolable wth Keybaord wedge and USB. Although most choose the Touch 65
a wider bodied scanner, the Touch 90, can read barcodes up to 88mm wide.
